Let’s find out more about our friends, the Librans, who have a birthday this month. And of course, let’s learn more about our opportunities this year.
First a bit about Librans…
Librans are charming, popular, and can really connect with anyone. They make great mediators and lawyers. They are usually not very fond of hard work. They will avoid getting their hands dirty and doing the work themselves. Fortunately, their instincts are good at pointing them toward money. They can think up great business ideas that are original and bound for success. While they will initiate the idea, they will need someone else to do the work.
Librans make very good life partners and dislike being on their own. They definitely have the potential to be great leaders with their diplomatic ways. But often they are just too lazy to do the hard work required to climb the life ladder.
They also are very fond of peace, being ruled by Venus, and confrontations can be excruciating for them. A good way for Librans to become wealthy is through artistic endeavors. They can be painters, interior decorators, actors, writers, or composers. These are great ideas because it incorporates Libra's hobby with a moneymaking venture.
Oftentimes, a Libran falls in love with love itself, which really complicates their lives! The best advice for them is to never look back at any decision they have made, and simply remember that nothing can be perfect. Looking at the past can, in fact, give them tremendous guilt that can paralyze them for days or even weeks.
In accordance with kabbalistic writings, all of humankind is, in fact, Libran–the first man was born on Rosh Hashanah. Therefore, all of us are a bit Shakespearian in our experience of life; we are in a permanentto be or not to be state!
So, what is awaiting us for the New Year?
The US economy is usually a pretty good indicator of what’s happening in the whole world. Pluto is opposing the sun of the USA for the past year, making the growth and recovery of its market really slow, though it is still happening. As it strengthens a bit, it seems that Europe is slowing down, as well. In fact, for nearly two years Saturn being in Scorpio has affected many European countries. The charts of France, Italy, and Russia are not very optimistic. Saturn (the constrictor!) is ruling the banking system, and it has created a lot of shortcomings, bad loans, and debts. Saturn really puts on the brakes, slowing down everything. But it’s for the purpose of teaching us and helping us to create order. We can call it the “law and order” of the zodiac!
Saturn is THE planet to look at and focus on for this upcoming year! From December 23rd to June 14th, 2015, Saturn will be moving from intense Scorpio to Sagittarius, and will stay permanently in Sagittarius from September 2015 until December 2017.
The publishing industry, ruled by the Sagittarius sign, is likely to be under great pressure, from various governments. It’s like propaganda is making a comeback in certain countries! Free expression becomes more complicated. On the other hand, written publications are decreasing in favor of electronic ones.
The Sagittarius sign also rules import and export business, and overseas markets. For the record, this is the same planetary cycle that occurred during the Great Depression between 1932 and 1934, when dust storms did tremendous damage to crops. We are likely to witness grain prices, especially corn and wheat, rise in the summer-fall period and continue until 2015.
Also, medical research is on the rise due to Uranus in Aries. That will include improvements in stem cell therapy. Mobile fitness devices will become even more of a growing market, especially with Saturn entering Sagittarius. On a side note, we are also expecting breakthroughs in cancer research and treatments, and great progress in genome sequencing. The use and application of green technology will definitely be on the rise.
Uranus rules terrorism in Aries for many years to come. Aries is difficult to control. We should all meditate on canceling terror and become more serious about being less reactive in our lives!
Let’s examine what’s happening with governments this year.
The Uranus-Pluto cycle we are in, from 2012-2015, has already revealed many cover-ups and secrets. Uranus rules sudden revelations. Pluto rules secrets (both hiding and revealing them). The nature of this Uranus-Pluto cycle means that behind the scenes world leaders, politicians, corporations, and powerful individuals are hiding knowledge and information for their own benefit. They tend to control events for their own advantage. With Pluto in the sign of Capricorn, expect more “big secrets” to be revealed. In many ways, it is a lot better to know!
In conclusion, this year, be orderly and don’t gamble with anything. Rather, invest time and energy in newer technologies and research. And let’s remember, as Rav Berg used to say, “Consciousness is everything!”
