Hi everyone! This week, a brand new marathon begins. Yay! It seems the cosmos never rests, doesn’t it? This new race will take us all the way to the cosmic New Year, or the new moon of Libra, called Rosh Hashanah in Kabbalah (literally, head of the year).
From a kabbalistic viewpoint, there are seven weeks between the 9th of Av (remember, THE most challenging day of the year!) and Rosh Hashanah. During this time, we are preparing ourselves spiritually, emotionally, and physically to both cleanse ourselves and to recreate ourselves with a brand new energy for the year ahead.
Metaphorically, our soul is like a rechargeable battery. The yearly time to recharge it is the two-day span of the cosmic New Year. Most of us will receive energy for the entire year to come. Some of us, unfortunately, will only get recharged for a shorter period of time. In order for us to maximize the recharge, we have seven weeks to cleanse and prepare a “new me”—or a new vessel, as the kabbalists would say—so we can receive a much stronger energy for the next year.
So, what's this week’s chart like?
First of all, we have seven earth planets, most of which are in Virgo. Oh my! The cosmos is really getting serious! Virgo’s message is work, work, work. You may already feel the sweat dripping down your forehead!
The rising of the chart is Aries and Uranus (the troublemaker), who will stay in Aries until 2019 and is slowly getting closer to the chart’s ascendant. The moon is literally at the last degree of sensitive Pisces, and will enter Aries very shortly. We still have numerous planets in Pisces, positioned in the 12th house, which need to be dealt with right now.
Pisces energy, in fact, represents the end of a cycle since it’s the last sign of the zodiac. The cosmos is showing us everything we need to leave behind—whether it’s fear or even the masks we wear to hide some of our weaknesses. These defense mechanisms will slowly fall off.
The combined energies of realistic Virgo and fearless Aries literally shake off what isn’t really us. OMG… we didn’t see this coming!
Many belief systems we have built as self-protection about people or life in general need to collapse for new ones to emerge and slowly be implemented. But, no worries—we have until Rosh Hashanah to do so.
Since the moon is in opposition to Jupiter and Mercury this week, we absolutely need to share our processes, and above all, avoid creating a whole drama about change. It’s a new beginning, a pioneering Aries new start. We need to be both excited and determined about it.
Practically speaking, how can we start our homework assignment for the week?
First, let’s simply draw conclusions. Write them down. What worked, what did not work, and what is no longer working? How was our behavior a little fake? What is real and honest? Let’s gather ideas on how to rebuild a better self. Slowly, more inspiration will be downloaded and we will feel like the great architect of our lives!
On a more universal note, we need everyone's good energy and meditations to cancel bloodsheds all around the globe. As Uranus gets closer to the ascendant, we may see upheavals in sensitive spots in the world. The global good needs to be empowered. Let’s remember a simple kabbalistic principle: every positive action affects the whole universe. When we detach ourselves from not-so-good behaviors, we free all the Light that exists within us.
Phew! That’s quite a start for the coming seven weeks!
Keep in mind this famous quote:
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
― Edmund Burke
This week we gather for the good to win!
