Hi Everybody! A brand new lunar month has started and many amazing opportunities are just around the corner!
In kabbalistic astrology, twice a year under planet Jupiter's influence, a very specific cosmic window opens up. The first window occurs at the end of the month of Sagittarius (Chanukah), and the second occurs during the month of Pisces (Adar), at the full moon. And this year we are even more blessed with double Pisces!
These Jovian cosmic zones are designed to allow us to overcome our natural tendencies and rise above many of our limitations.
Indeed, this week’s chart illustrates this so well:
First, many T-squares are featured. Although they have a bad reputation, they can really kick us to the next level! Jupiter, this month's star who is still in retrograde motion, is very boldly positioned in the 1st astrological house. The moon is in kind Taurus at the start of the week, and many planets are still in earth signs. What is the cosmos trying to tell us?
The answer is unbelievably simple: in order to reach the Jovian happiness promised by the month of Pisces, we need to challenge our comfort zone (nine planets in Earth) thanks to 10 mutable planets.
Simple JOY never seemed so complicated to reach!
What does joy spiritually represent and how are we expected to act this week?
I’ll start by stating the obvious: we are all in very different spaces in our lives and sometimes the word ‘joy’ seems a bit far-fetched. When a difficult or terrible event takes place, it feels humanly impossible to reach that warm and fuzzy feeling of joy. But if we had a better vision of the bigger picture, it certainly would be a bit easier.
Rav Brandwein, Rav Berg’s teacher, once explained, life passes by so fast it’s just a blink of an eye.
This week, the universe is giving us a good push forward. A lot of mutable energy has been released in the cosmos, which enables us to escape the Piscean tears and tissues! Mutable planets will help us look at everything in a more open, flexible way.
To understand real joy, we have to look at children. Kabbalists ask, “Who is a wise man?” The answer is, one who learns from everyone.
Great in theory, but what can we learn from, let’s say, babies?
The sages say 3 things:
1. To continue demanding and begging until we are satisfied
2. To be constantly in movement
3. To smile all the time!
Who would have known?
The truth is, a child doesn't judge. He doesn’t know hatred, divisions, nor social conflicts unless they are taught by adults. Our teacher, Karen Berg, often says, a child sees another and doesn’t inquire about his social status! He simply asks, Would you like to play?
This week is a fabulous opportunity for all of us to connect with the authentic parts of ourselves – our child within – to rediscover our world, and become more aware of the many wonderful things that exist around us.
The real source of joy lies in our connection to the child within our souls.
So, our practical plan of attack is as follows:
This week, let's look at life with a child's eyes. It's that simple! Let's be open, funny, playful, even naïve and all-loving for just one week. No more suspicions, doubts, and "whys.”
This time around is all about Taurean simplicity, staying in the moment, smiling at life as much as possible. Let's try to leave the past exactly where it belongs… in the past.
Have a wonderful week!
