Hi everyone! We are entering our second full week of lunar Gemini. And this week a beautiful full moon will appear in our skies! Let’s take a closer look at the cosmic environment these days.
Thank God, the four elements of the world’s chart are well balanced. That’s perhaps our biggest support this week. Venus just entered emotional Cancer, the full moon is conjunct with heavy Saturn (retrograde) in Sagittarius, and Pluto is still in the 12th house, weighing on our conscience. Jupiter is also opposing Neptune. This will definitely add a pinch of confusion and stress!
The moon is really challenged this week. Although it will be a full moon, the difficult positions of Saturn, Mercury and Uranus weigh heavily on the moon’s energy.
How can we relate to that?
When we take a closer look at ancient kabbalistic teachings, we see that the moon is perhaps the most important feature in a chart. It represents the universe within us, our deepest emotions, and the way we perceive, process, and receive all events that occur in our lives. In a way, the placement of the moon in one’s chart truly represents who this person is within.
Now, we have a better understanding of this week’s cosmic lesson!
Positioned just two degrees away from the moon, Saturn creates a heavy and thick cosmic atmosphere. Since Mercury and the moon are in opposition, difficulties arise when it comes to expressing how we feel.
First of all, we need to stay very factual and very grounded this whole week. In other words, we cannot express nor receive information that isn’t based on events we can verify. Say, for instance, a certain confrontation leaves us feeling insecure, blocked, or annoyed. We should avoid giving any energy to these emotions, since they are not based on actual facts. Instead, we should ask ourselves, “Okay, what has changed in the past 20 minutes?” If the answer is nothing really, realize you only got into a difficult conflict.
Actually, the best advice right now is to train yourself to look at both sides of the coin. Every situation needs to be perceived from all possible angles. Not just from the negative angle! But of course, Saturn’s job is to accentuate the drama, or the “doom and gloom” of life events.
So, what are we to do? Stay home and hide under our blankets? No way! To the contrary – we are challenged to stand strong and clear, facts in hand, and face the distortion and illusion the cosmos creates.
Ayin Resh Yud, (the formula for certainty) of the 72 Names, is definitely our ally this week!
Since three planets are still in retrograde motion, we need to stay in the moment with a great dose of strength and certainty. Retrograde motions tend to throw us back into the past. To quote a Chinese philosopher by the name of Lao Tzu,
“If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.”
The cosmic illusions of this week will soon vanish and more clarity will enter our lives. Patience and consistency will get us through more quickly!
Have a wonderful week!
Love,
Yael
