Hi Everyone! So, here we are, in the second week of lunar Aries, on the road to the full moon of Nissan (Aramaic for the month of Aries), which is also called Pesach. This very special yearly cosmic event will occur on Friday night and Saturday. As it happens it will also be a blood moon. The moon will appear reddish in the sky and, quite frankly, a bit scary!
Last week, we talked extensively about the lunar eclipse, which will coincide with the full moon. Let’s take care to be well prepared for this exciting event and ready with a brand new consciousness.
This week the cosmos asks us to reflect on many things from our past, since the chart opens with the moon in emotional Cancer, a soft Libra rising, and Mercury still in Pisces. Very contemplative and introverted, indeed!
In short, this is the perfect time for a good emotional cleansing! What are we to do? Transform into werewolves and howl at the blood moon? Well… almost!
First of all, this week it is essential for us to reflect, internalize, and come clean (literally) about situations and past events during which our words or actions might have hurt others. Oh my… we may have to write a list as long as Schindler’s! No matter. The most important thing is to just start.
Now, we are all well aware of how difficult it might be to first admit, then verbalize how sorry we are about the turn of certain past events. Our strong ego (that is, the Aries/ram energy in us) would probably rather have its own tongue cut off than apologize! But here we are in the depths of the Aries lunar month, needing to perform a little surgery on our tough hearts and render them mellower.
In short, we need to first put the animal in a good cage, then domesticate him!
Our first assignment for this week:
Recall and/or find out who you have hurt in the past and email, text, SMS, even call this person — whatever it takes — and just say, “OMG, I just remembered what I said to you a million years ago, and I want to say how sorry I am for the way I handled things.”
Done.
One less bad karma to deal with!
Second, let’s do a really good spring cleaning. All the annoying physical clutter that is in our way needs to be rearranged, donated, or thrown out. Let go of all the very old stuff you are still hanging on to. Uranus and the sun are getting closer together and Uranus is the new cosmic “broom” that can cleanse and sweep away many old patterns. We could use a new tool for quicker and better results!
Take care to be softer and kinder in your ways, even though the three celestial bodies in Aries — Mars, the sun, and Uranus — might brush you the wrong way. Jupiter retrograde in Leo will amplify our sense of drama! This is definitely a time for positive self-reflection and self-correction, rather than big stories and Shakespearian theatre.
This week, it’s very likely that we will witness some scandalous (or very unpleasant) stories in the world news. Well, well, well… Uranus seems to have a passion for events of biblical proportions!
We are investing energy in the new astrological year, hopefully with a brand new consciousness. Kabbalists say that during the full moon of Aries, all the wars and conflicts we are to face within the coming year are planned and decided. The blood moon in a state of eclipse can indeed create many upheavals in the world.
With a good spiritual (and physical!) cleaning, we ensure that our year will be full of Light, friendship, and peace.
Wishing everyone a great week and an amazing Pesach, too!
Remember: no conflicts allowed until further notice!
Love,
Yael
