Hi everyone! Welcome to the second week of lunar Taurus!
This week promises to be a little lighter energetically than last week – thank God!
Although Mercury is still retrograde in Taurus, the week opens up with a light Gemini moon, which is a great asset in facilitating impaired communication.
The big lesson of this week has to do with the number of mutable planets (a total of ten!)
Saturn, retrograde this week sits heavily on the rising of the chart and three planets are already in steady Taurus. The current energies are split between water and earth; the big absentee is the element of air.
Omg, what does that mean?!
The key word of the moment is “grounding.” This week, we need a real anchor since all the mutable planets are creating restlessness, impatience, lack of commitment with an “I already know” attitude. (Sagittarius energy, anyone?)
The chart, in fact, opens up with a Sagittarius rising, Saturn and Mars in Sagittarius retrograde conjunct with the ascendant. What we would really looove to do, Sagittarius-style, would be to drop everything, run away without a care in the world, and join our great friends for a glass of wine – imagine our lives continuing this way forever!
Alas, this week, the cosmos hits us with many truths we are not very willing to hear. No tact added! Sagittarius-style!
It’s a very funny message, indeed! Every time we think we really have a situation under control, the cosmos proves us wrong. Additionally, all our irresponsible behaviors are highlighted for us this whole week, as if the cosmos was highlighting them with a fluorescent pen. Ouch!
Of course, Saturn, the famous IRS, is crossing the chart’s ascendant just as we start the week. Beware of Saturn in Sagittarius! We are painfully reminded of our negligence. I can guarantee one thing this week: we are very far away from any Taurus comfort zone and we could use a good dose of Sagittarius humor!
So, what is our plan of attack?
Our first homework task is to take note of the comments of our surroundings. Contrary to the strong Gemini/Sagittarius, guillotine energy, we need to internalize and listen to messages, not run away from them.
Generally speaking, this week is an amazing opportunity to truly take charge of our lives, as well as own our past mistakes – retrograde Mercury-style! As our teacher, Michael Berg, taught us, we are not smart enough for the mistakes we make; they all come from the Light to help us understand and re-orientate our lives.
Our second mission this week is to take on a regular physical practice – preferably a calm type of exercise – and anchor ourselves. Think, meditate, hike, or do breathing exercises. Don’t be afraid to go outside of the box!
The real cosmic message here is to listen, re-balance, re-center, and better orientate our energies and emotions so we can truly understand ourselves better. Oftentimes, due to our lack of patience, we completely misinterpret the messages that are coming our way. This is the time to learn all the cosmic codes!I would warmly recommend buying books this week or visit your local library, taking the time to learn more, and invest effort towards quickly straightening up any complicated situations.
In short, our homework is to remain open, focused, and anchored in our words and actions.
Our savior this week is Mem Nun Kuf. Welcome to your next level!
Have a wonderful week!
Love ,
Yael
