Hi Everyone! Another week unfolds for us and the Scorpio energy is getting stronger and stronger – intense and emotional!
This week’s chart opens with a moon in moody Cancer, a stronger Scorpio sun, and a combo of many planets in water and earth.
The strongest houses this week are the fourth (the house of roots and anchors) and the fifth (the house of creativity, hobbies, and children). Well, well… it seems the cosmos wants us to re-center ourselves this time around.
Let’s face it, we’ve been through the New Year, some intense holidays and cosmic connections, the powerful new moon of Scorpio, and last week’s adventures…after all that, we need to hit the PAUSE button!
So, what’s the plan?
First, let’s inject more Light and energy into the place in which we live, even if we are in an in-between kind of living situation. Look around your house, flat, room – your domus in Latin, your energetic domain – and decide, “Okay, this needs to go, this requires a good paint job, the couch needs to relocate, it’s too dark in here, let’s throw the curtains away…”, etc.
This is a perfect time for a quick, or even deep, home makeover, since the moon in homey Cancer is winking at us! If you like your space just the way it is, then go get some plants, clean the closets, or throw away some clutter.
Kabbalistically, it’s actually a very conscious action to invest in our home, which is considered our malchut, or kingdom in Aramaic. Meaning, it’s an extension of who we are. Sounds like serious business!
Many kabbalistic stories are told about this very topic, about how pieces of furniture miraculously found their ways back to their owners, after having been stolen or taken. Some stories also relate to the Holy Temple, the place where people would go to connect to the Light for the entire world 2,000 years ago. Its architecture and features were deeply meaningful, and conveyed different layers of spiritual understanding.
I often remember how our beloved teacher, Rav Berg, took such great care of each small detail: papers, chair, glass, or furniture. When I was Rav Berg's assistant for a short while, it really felt to me as if he could communicate with the inanimate and somehow even activate it.
We know for ourselves that when we start neglecting objects or ignoring them, they eventually break down, or get stolen from us. This week is an amazing opportunity to reactivate our environment, give it Light and energy, and of course, appreciate it more deeply. It will reflect the energy right back at us by inspiring us further.
The second mission of this week is family!
Create a positive platform this week to better communicate and connect with family members. We know families are complicated; they can bring the biggest blessings or the biggest pain! After all, what do we know? The great-grandfather of the 12 tribes of Israel was a crook and an evil wizard! However, it didn’t prevent his descendants from shining a brighter Light on the world.
The cosmic suggestion here is to gather, unite, and find comfort with our families and friends. This is not the proper cosmic time to try correcting them. Simply, spend a moment in time sharing good energy whenever it’s possible.
This must come with a disclaimer: you might not want to reconnect and gather with a third cousin who’s a serial killer (God forbid!). However, we could pray for him and send Light his way this week.
The cosmos is very cleverly guiding us! By anchoring us this week, it also prepares us for the coming month of Sagittarius, the mutable fire. Sagittarius, where Saturn is now domiciled, is all about movement, moving our spirit, and even moving physically. Early days still!
Have a fantastic, homey week!
Love,
Yael
