Hi everyone! Let's find out what's next on the menu in this powerful month of Scorpio!
The chart of this week opens up with a light and airy Gemini rising, plenty of mutable planets, the moon in fiery Aries conjunct with Uranus, Mars just entering rebellious Aquarius, and Venus zero degrees in Capricorn. Venus and Capricorn… hmmm.
As a side note, although the water element is still dominant this week, we have plenty of air. Needless to say, since we are in the intense Scorpio zone, the lessons available this week are very powerful. The strongest of them is related to the moon being so close to Uranus, and to planet Mercury, who is already in Sagittarius.
As I mentioned in our previous post, according to kabbalistic tradition, Scorpio comes in three forms: the snake (spiritually in very poor condition!), the scorpion (so-so), and the eagle (the highest level). The scorpion is more evolved than the snake, however, its actions are based solely on survival instincts. This week is an opportunity to connect with the corrected version of this month: the eagle.
What is the definition of the Scorpio eagle? An eagle is gifted with an incredible vision of the bigger picture. In kabbalistic symbolism, the eagle is also the archangel that carries the force of the central column energy—absolute balance. The central column (air) energy is indeed one of the strongest features of this week!
The cosmic message here is obvious: this week, we are not to interfere, unless it is absolutely clear that we should. Venus is in critical and dissatisfied Capricorn, the moon is in impulsive Aries along with Uranus, and Mercury in tactless Sagittarius!
How many times have we become involved in situations too hastily, charged with judgment, and so sure we are right? When this happens, usually big drama ensues! Suddenly, we decide we know what's best for everyone and we are determined to impulsively save the day. How many times in our lives have we taken sides without having all our facts straight, having barely seen half of the picture?
This week's energy is our vaccination against hasty judgments. The planets are asking us to remain light and nonjudgmental no matter what the circumstances are. Jupiter in Libra is our ally!
Our job this month is actually to pacify our surroundings. According to kabbalists, the biggest gift in life is PEACE. The last word of the oral part of the law and of many prayers is the word shalom, which means peace. Too often we lose our peaceful ways because we become partly blinded, like the scorpion. This week, we will be tested not only on our ability to stay above conflicts, just like the Eagle, but also on our capacities to create peace around us.
In the Zodiac, the month of Scorpio symbolizes internal growth, regeneration, recreation, and reinvention. But, as the kabbalists teach us, it always comes at a price. Let's take time this week to think and reflect on a really important lesson: We can never receive something new and bigger, unless we let go of something else first! It’s the law of the universe; we need to make space for the new. I think the big sand bag we should drop is our judgmental ways!
This is a very important week in our spiritual growth. Take time for peace and reflection, away from drama. We should also imagine a strong and better version of our lives as peacemakers, reawakening the eagle in all of us. It’s about time to bring harmony to our surroundings and give more of ourselves to the universe!
Have a peaceful and elevated (in Aramaic, “ram”—the opposite letters of this month) week!
To be continued!
Love,
Yael
