Hi everyone! I hope you guys are still in one piece and still reading our blog!
The month of Scorpio was really rough this year! Things are going to get a lot better as we are starting the week with the New Moon of Sagittarius, which is exactly the opposite of Scorpio. Thank God! When Scorpios are controlling and tough, those born under Sagittarius are ok with everything flowing in a "whatever!" sort of way. The fiery energy of Sagittarius will gradually enter the cosmos in the next ten days, making its way towards an energy download of miracles in the cosmos. And a very specific cosmic window of Chanukah, the holiday of lights, occurs at the end of the month.
The ruler of Sagittarius is planet Jupiter (in Hebrew the planet is called Tsedek, which literally means justice). This year, Jupiter is located in the sign of Cancer, the sign of its exaltation, which signifies that Jupiter will have the power to really help us expand. And indeed, Jupiter is the highlight of the year. The cosmos nowadays is really constipated and we could use a spiritual growth hormone, i.e. Jupiter.
Traditionally the month of Sagittarius is associated with the energy of miracles. By miracle, the kabbalists do not mean walking on water, flying in the air, etc. Miracles are a very specific idea that has to do with the removal of chaos. How so? The Aramaic word for miracle is nes, which comes from another word, lanus, which literally means to run away!
So… what are we saying? The kabbalistic recipe for creating miracles in our lives is running away? From what?
Chaos!
Have you noticed yet how much we are addicted to chaos? It becomes weird to us when things are going well! Without any form of chaos, drama, agitation, or mess we kind of feel at a loss as to how to act and respond. When we look at it, isn’t that really strange?
Kabbalistically, we were all created to be happy and enjoy the cosmic Light forever, under one condition though: that we really make an effort and work for that Light, and earn it. Instead, most of us run from one chaos to another, because we are simply used to it. The murderer often comes back to the scene of his crime. Why? Because he got used to it. No need to be murderers, we do exactly that anyway!
So what's the deal this week?
First, take a pen and paper and write down one chaos that constantly comes back into your life. That’s the one miracle we want to create this week: getting rid of that specific chaos. The truth is, not only are we benefitting from a new, splendid Light this week, the chart also still contains plenty of Scorpio energy to help solidify our determination to change. As you know, no one is ever as determined as a Scorpio!
We have the power to wipe away one mess this week. My advice is, let’s do it! This is an essential action in our road to growth.
Secondly, Jupiter is a really fascinating planet. As it happens, it is the biggest of our solar system, 318 times bigger than the Earth in mass! And get this—without the gravity of Jupiter there is no solar system! Jupiter’s job is to stabilize our solar system. The miracles associated with Jupiter are even of a physical nature. No solar system, no life on Earth!
Moreover, from Tsedek (justice), the Aramaic word for Jupiter, we derive the idea of tsadik, which means righteous. Simply put, it’s a very important week to reflect on the times that we have wronged people in the past even if we've done it involuntarily. This is a great time to make things right. This is a great week to pick up the phone and say, “Man, I am so sorry. I have made a terrible mistake.” This way, planet Jupiter, the righteous of the zodiac, will help us grow and move on, chaos free!
This is enough to keep us busy for a while! Have a great and fruitful week!
Love,
Yael
