Hi everyone! Phewww! We are done with the cosmic marathon that Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot bring… for now! As the New Year cycle really kicks in, we will benefit as we surf the cosmos in search for new meanings and new ways of improving our lives.
The chart this week is a bit unusual.
First of all, much air is present in the cosmos: surprisingly, five planets are in Libra and the chart’s rising is Gemini. There is a record of seven air planets! The week starts with the moon in Cancer along with four water planets. The duality created by air and water elements is rather unusual since it symbolizes opposite forces; air is light, open for discussion, and flexible, while water is heavy, complicated, and waaay too involved on a personal level.
It seems that this week we are hesitant as to how to take things in our lives—how to comprehend and respond to them. Let's try to better understand our mission, since Venus, in Sagittarius is slowly coming closer to Saturn. Saturn is the responsible one and is pinpointing areas in life where we lack a backbone.
The cosmos wants us to realize a very important lesson, which has a lot to do with a current trend in our world today. I am referring to the “now” generation—the technologically savvy, smart, and fast generation, who don’t take time to dive deep into anything (they are all in the “air,” so to speak)!
Let’s face it, we want everything ASAP. Yesterday, if possible. Technology enables us to travel in seconds to different places in the world via skype, email, messaging, etc. Everything is so readily available to everyone, we forget to appreciate what we have since we are already on to the next thing, and the next.
Our teacher Karen Berg has wisely said, "We are called human BEINGS, not human DOINGS!"
This week, the house of creativity is tremendously empowered (Jupiter in Libra rules it). The moon in Cancer is all about understanding and processing things in a much more intuitive and deep level. Five planets are in creative Libra to allow ourselves to open up to new ideas, new people, and new creations.
This isn’t about becoming a dreamer all of a sudden; Saturn keeps us focused on the realities and responsibilities of life. But this week brings a fantastic opportunity to allow our imagination and inspiration to prevail, as opposed to running around all day looking for the next best thing.
This week it’s time to get back to basics, to come back to the beginning and recreate ourselves, rebuild new desires—a new vessel, as kabbalists teach.
Another very important cosmic lesson is available this week: appreciation. Specifically, in the domain of love and relationships, since Venus and Saturn are technically conjunct. Take a closer look at your partners in life, close friends, or even your community. Who makes up your inner circle? Honestly, how often do you take them for granted or overlook them? Have you really earned their love? Are you still investing in them, and giving your hearts to them, or at least reaching out of your comfort zone? What we don’t continuously earn is impossible to keep!
Our homework for the next week (at least) is to make an effort to create more, love more, and help more. Value who you have in your life. Think up creative ways to invest in your companions and communities. The moon in Cancer helps us gain a deeper access into the hearts of our families, soul partners, and communities. The time has come to reinvent a better self with more patience, and love. It’s a very Venusian chart, indeed!
On the menu this week: new beginnings, renewal, and deeper connections with our soul families, and reestablishing love around ourselves. We should also meditate on the 72 Name, kaf lamed yud this week.
Have an amazing week!
Love,
Yael
