Here we are in a brand new cycle! All the "wholly" days are behind us, and we are ready for a new year (and new self)!
This week’s chart is a bit unusual. First of all, a lot of air is present in the cosmos — surprisingly, a total of six planets: four in Libra with two aspects in Aquarius (the MC). The week starts with the moon in roaring Leo along with a rising sign in Taurus. The duality created by air and fire elements is great since it will carry us up like a helium balloon!
Due to the record number of Libra planets this week, it seems we are hesitant as to how to take things in our lives — how to comprehend and respond to them. Let's explore our mission since Jupiter has entered deep Scorpio, the deep and responsible sign, which happily pinpoints areas in our lives where we lack responsibility or common sense. The cosmos wants us to realize a very important lesson that has a lot to do with the millennial generation. They are the “NOW” generation — the technologically savvy, smart, and fast generation who wants success yesterday and doesn’t really take time to dive deep into anything. (They are all in the “air,” so to speak!)
Let’s face it, we have all caught the same virus; we need everything ASAP. Thanks to technological advances, we can travel in seconds to different places in the world via Skype, email, instant messaging, etc. Everything is so readily available; we forget to have an appreciation for what we are already blessed with since we are quickly on to the next thing. Our teacher, Karen Berg, wisely said many times, "We are called human BEINGS, not human DOINGS!"
This week, the house of service, sharing, and true friendship is tremendously empowered. The moon in Leo is all about understanding and processing things with leadership in mind. All four planets in creative Libra allow ourselves to open up to new ideas, new people, and (why not?) new work. This isn’t about becoming a dreamer all of a sudden. But this week holds great opportunities to allow our imagination and inspiration to prevail, as opposed to running around all day looking for the next best thing.
This week it’s time to get back to basics, come back to the beginning, and recreate ourselves. As the kabbalists teach, rebuild new desires — a new vessel.
The cosmic lesson is also appreciation in love, relationships, and work. Take a deeper look at your close friends, or even your community. Who makes up your inner circle? Honestly ask yourself, how often do I take them for granted or overlook them? Have I really earned their love? Am I investing in them, and giving my heart to them? Or, at least, am I reaching out of my comfort zone?
What we don’t continuously earn is impossible to keep! Our homework for the next week (and really, for life!) is to make an effort to internalize more love and help more, and to value who we have in our lives. Think up of creative ways to invest in everything. The moon in Leo helps us gain richer access into the hearts of our families, soul partners, and communities. Let’s shine our Lights more and more!
On the menu this week: new beginnings, renewal, and deeper connections with our soul families. As the Leo moon is strongly aspected to the north node and the chart's MC, let’s work more with our HEARTS!
Have a great week everyone!
Love,
Yael
