Hi Everyone! Happy New Year to all!
Hopefully, we have started the New Year cycle on the right foot! Let’s examine this week’s opportunities.
Finally, more Libra energy is entering the cosmos, after the guillotine of last week's Aries and Virgo. We can already breathe easier! More peace and centeredness will slowly be entering our hearts and minds, as the rising is in calm Taurus this week, along with the presence of the moon in happy Sagittarius.
Four planets and aspects are in soft Libra. But, of course, the cosmos will never stop challenging us. So beware: Mercury just started its retrograde motion!
The usual safety measures should be in place. I think we are getting used to them by now! So, get ready to repeat everything at least twice and follow all conversations by a written memo. Transportation delays can be expected and misunderstandings may occur on a daily basis!
As long as we are armed with a good dose of patience, it should all be good!
If you have planned a helicopter ride, or a scuba diving mission with Commander Cousteau, maybe it should be delayed until after October 9th when Mercury returns to its direct motion – just in case. We should also avoid signing contracts; projects and plans can be reviewed, but we should wait until Mercury is direct to make any final decisions. Uranus is also in retrograde and is opposing Mercury. This aspect can make the cosmos accident-prone. So, as they say, better safe than sorry.
A very important message this week centers around the planet Saturn, called by many, the lord of karma. In kabbalistic terms, this means Saturn is in charge of making us pay and even up all our karmic debts. We are really not too fond of Saturn! It is said he is the one with the files of all of mankind who is called by the Light on Rosh Hashanah. Ouch!
Let’s make sure we are on the good side of this tough cookie.
Newly placed in Sagittarius (the sign of knowledge, wisdom, and life experience), Saturn will help us learn in a much more thorough way. The lessons that we have taken lightly in the past, or perhaps ignored a bit, are coming back into our lives for the purpose of being properly integrated.
For example, say you’ve had a conflict at work and it’s kind of okay right now. But you didn’t take the opportunity to say everything you wanted to, so it may feel a bit like a loose end. Saturn helps us to bring closure, to draw the right conclusions, and somehow express what has been missing.
The challenging sides of Sagittarius, such as lack of responsibility, won't work for us any longer! Our lovely friends, the Sagittarians, are going to be a lot more challenged than usual – all the way until December 2017! Since Saturn requires structure, commitment, and rule following, signs that love freedom and improvisation are going to hate this transit!
On a better note, Saturn in Sagittarius will give us practical applications in our spiritual work. We will understand knowledge in a much more down-to-Earth way this year. We can also expect spirituality to be more integrated into the schooling systems.
The difficulty of this time is that our faith will be quite tested and we may be questioning all our belief systems. There is no question – it could be really stressful. However, Saturn is all about sincerity and authenticity and represents teachers, so we shouldn't hesitate to get help from our mentors and teachers. Sagittarius rules colleges and universities and Saturn will help create solutions for expensive studies.
On a physical level (and to create good health during this transit) it is important to walk and activate a good blood flow. Care should be taken to not stretch our hips and thighs too much. A liver cleanse is also recommended, as Sagittarius rules the liver.
Globally, Saturn in Sagittarius will remove our false belief systems and bring solid knowledge in our lives and the world. This whole week, we should be opened to reevaluating our lives and beliefs in a very positive and optimistic Sagittarius fashion, while keeping in mind that the Light just wants us to grow.
Have a very good week, everyone!
Love,
Yael
