A brand new cosmic zone starts at the end of this week. So, let’s get ready for new windows of opportunity!
As we mentioned in our last post, since the full moon of Pesach, a new cosmic portal has opened called the Counting of the Omer. Traditionally, this time zone is considered astrologically complex; in past history, difficult events have occurred during this time. Kabbalistically, we know that the Light is actually hiding from us so we can reveal it. In a way, the Light of positivity and blessings is kind of eclipsed, and playing a game of hide-and-seek with us. As long as we actually look for it, this can be a time of great understanding and achievements.
"This can be a time of great understanding and achievements."
At the end of this week, the lunar month of Taurus starts. It’s quite an energy change from impulsive and fiery Aries! In kabbalistic tradition, it’s customary to avoid starting anything new this month. We’re better off waiting until the 18th day of lunar Taurus, and the highlight of this month—Lag B’Omer. Since Taurus is a fixed sign, we can expect to feel slow and a bit stuck during this entire month.
Let’s get more insight into the lunar month of Taurus, its atmosphere, and of course, we’ll roast the sign a bit, as accustomed!
Our lovely friends, the Taureans (as well as the month), are controlled by the planet Venus (Noga in Aramaic), which happens to be the foggiest planet of our solar system! Venus, in fact, has extreme temperatures because of the greenhouse effect created by the clouds surrounding it. At the same time, Venus is the brightest star in the night sky. The planet is also related to challenges connected to the whole idea of… love! Taureans have real issues seeing the truth in love; they feel pretty clouded, like the planet, and often make serious errors of judgment.
For example, they are known to stay in the worst relationships far longer than they should, even if abused! They may say, “I know my partner loves me (even if they have strange ways of showing it).” But, because it is all about love, Taureans are infamous for starting the day really slowly, dragging their feet to work, and being overly active at night (busy with love, of course!)

The external energy of Taurus is earth, while the internal sign is fire. Together, it’s a volcano! One of their traits is they really dislike the word “change.” When communicating with a Taurean we can use the following terms: upgrade, transformation, improvements… just not the “c” word!
Mostly kind and patient under all circumstances, if Taureans reach their critical mass, all hell breaks loose, like a volcano! The anger of Taurus is legendary. Taureans who affected the course of history are of the best and the worst. Born under this sign are artists (like Bono), composers (the inventor of the piano), doctors (Freud and Spock), Oskar Schindler, the inventor of the Morse code, and Karl Marx! Unfortunately, a bunch of selfish villains and dictators, whose rule brought their countries back to the Stone Age were also born under this sign: Saddam Hussein, Hitler, and Lenin—all reflect the aspect of harsh judgment contained in Taurus.
The part of the body connected to the sign is the throat, thyroid, and vocal cords. Many Taureans have a fantastic and easily recognizable voice.
Because Taurus is a fixed sign, blockages and delays are expected during this whole month. But, we also have an amazing opportunity to strengthen all our desires!
