Living with Consciousness

Those of us who have been studying Kabbalah have probably heard the statement that consciousness is all there is. Yet, there are so many times in our lives that we live robotically. When we go to work each day, do we do it just to make a living, or do we think about how we can be of assistance to those around us? When we do mundane chores around the house, do we do it because we have to or because we want to create a beautiful space for those we love? When we pass people on the street, do we ignore them or do we give a smile and say a little prayer for them?

It’s not easy to live with consciousness, but it does make a world of difference.
