According to the Kabbalists, we have been given a predetermined period of time to be here on Earth as well as a predetermined number of words and actions to use in our lifetime. Positive actions such as studying spirituality and helping others, speaking positive words, and giving encouragement are not charged against our spiritual bank accounts, but negative words and actions are. Therefore, by making every action we take and every word we speak positive, we have the ability to create immortality.
