Rosh Hashanah Study Guide Week 1

Kabbalah Centre

This week, Kabbalah Centre students all across the world begin studying and preparing for the holiday of Rosh Hashanah. As Rav Berg would often teach, the more we study and prepare our consciousness for this day, the stronger our connection will be. As such, these five weeks are crucial to making the most of this powerful opportunity to change our destiny for the year ahead.

"Can you see the person you want to be 3 months from now?"

It is no coincidence that we begin our journey this year in the week of Re’eh, which means: To see. To start off your Rosh Hashanah preparation, you might want to ask yourself if you can see the person you want to be 3 months from now. Do you have a clear vision of what you hope to achieve by then? Can you feel who this person is? Perhaps most importantly, when you close your eyes, do you see the path that leads you to becoming that person?

The old saying goes, "If you don't know where you're going, you're never going to get there." Make time in your daily spiritual exercises to meditate on mem-vav-mem from the 72 Names of God to clear the veils that prevent you from being able to see all that you can become.

Right now you don't have to have a plan, but you must be able to feel it and see it.

You can also refer to these books and videos to help you on your way.
