Last week’s work was to look inward and make a written list of your unsavory leftovers – those aspects of yourself that should be removed from your vessel before coming to the heavenly court session at Rosh Hashanah.
"Make a list of your garbage."
Did you notice how the ego can even distort a spiritual process such as removing negativity? We consider our faults and think, “Aw, I'm not that bad…there are worse people out there…I'm going to work on this and then if I still have time, I'll work on that.”
In order to unmask the ego in this negativity-removing process, this week I'd like you to approach four different people in your life and ask them to make a list of your garbage. This is key because, from our perspective, some things look worse than others. But there is nothing more destructive than our negative behaviors that hurt others.
A note of caution: If you approach this week's (or last week's) task with dread or fear, you won't find what you're looking for. This month of Virgo - and the process of Rosh Hashanah - gives you the chance to delete the negative files from your cosmic computers. However, you cannot delete something you can't identify as negative. Therefore, we urge you to search for these files with excitement, anticipation, and even joy – for in doing so you create a path to transformation and fulfillment to follow throughout the coming year.
"You create a path to trans-formation and fulfillment."
Here are some book and video recommendations to help you with your work this week.
