As we face our daily trials and tribulations, we need to decide whether we are dealing with boulders— those major life-changing events—or pebbles—those minor annoyances that seem important but really are not. If we look at the situation carefully, we’ll realize that most of life’s problems are not worth the energy we devote to them.

Today, take a moment to sit quietly and make a list of issues you are currently dealing with. Are you making mountains out of molehills? Or, on the flipside, are you not devoting enough time to the important things such as family, friendships, and community?
