Lesson Highlights

  • One of the intentions of prayer is awakening the yearning for the Light
  • Everything exists in the Source
  • The Souls are all connected to each other
  • An action is considered “giving or receiving” according to the intention
  • Helping you is helping me
  • Giving is receiving, the opposite is called "dark mind"
  • Bitter body= emotions and body are in the same category
  • Receiving for the Sake of Sharing is aligned with the Light

Lesson Description

Rav Ashlag divides the Desire to Receive for Oneself Alone into two aspects: mind and body to which he refers as "dark mind" and "bitter body". In this study of The Thought of Creation, pages 24-27, Eitan Yardeni guides us to examine the intention behind all of our actions, is it to receive or to give?
