Lesson Highlights

  • Thinking that we are doing a favor to others when we give, it’s not true giving
  • Nothing physical can affect the world, only spiritual
  • The solution to everything is our own individual spiritual work
  • Heart of flesh means being sensitive and open to others
  • Heart of stone means stubbornness, not opening up to others
  • Feeling the Light means having a heart of flesh, awe, appreciation, love
  • A heart of stone cannot feel the Light and connection to others
  • Our egos need to be crushed so we learn to love and share
  • The more Light we want to get, the more restriction we have to apply
  • The extra effort to change our negativity and reactivity is what really reveals Light and cause positive change in others

Lesson Description

Rav Ashlag explains that the concept of “Israelite” in the Zohar refers to our ability to connect with our inner self, and the “other nations” refer to our own actions focused only on the ego or external. Yosef Yeshurun explains the importance of questioning everything and understanding the reason behind our rituals and actions. In this lesson we are reminded of the powerful influence of our individual transformation in the world.

About This Course

The Zohar is a powerful tool enabling us to decode the stories of the Bible, and thereby connect to our higher purpose and reason for being. How much Light this spiritual tool brings into our lives is directly proportional to our efforts – the deeper we go, the more benefits we reap. In this course, Yosef Yeshurun explores the keys to unlock the secrets of Kabbalah for the well-being of our existence and the entire world.
