Lesson Highlights

  • In the night of the Seder we feel free and happy
  • Feeling the Light and oneness by sharing with each other
  • Making the proper connection on Pesach can positively affect our destiny for the New Year
  • Exile is the vessel for the redemption
  • There is a physical exile and a spiritual exile
  • Physical exile refers to freedom from the comfort zone, absence of any external fulfillment
  • Spiritual exile refers to feeling distant from the Light
  • Spiritual redemption refers to total connection to the Light, to our Soul
  • Powerful consciousness is Gadlut, which means joy and love
  • In the first step of the Seder, Kadesh, we immediately get the Gadlut
  • Limited consciousness is Katnut, absence of the Light and distance from our true potential
  • Love means unity, feeling awe for the Light
  • Restriction refers to the ability to resist every reactive urge
  • We are reactive when we don’t feel certainty, abundance, support, strength, protection, joy
  • Feeling the Light in our lives give us the strength to restrict

Lesson Description

The gift of Pesach is the freedom from the ego, from our reactive behavior. In order to receive this gift, first, we need to realize how far we are right now from our true potential. This awareness expands our vessel to get the strength to restrict for the entire year. The night of the Seder we can connect with the energy of pure certainty, love, joy, and feeling the Light completely to moving forward on our spiritual transformation.
